Who is Donatella Saccone (secretariat)


Donatella Saccone achieved her Master Degree in Economics at CORIPE Piemonte (Consortium for Research and Continuing Education in Economics, Moncalieri, Italy) in 2005 and her Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Turin in 2008, with a honour by the Italian Association for the Analysis of Comparative Economic Systems (AISSEC) for the best doctoral dissertation in the field of Comparative Economics. She holds a Laurea Degree in Political Sciences, with a specialization in Economics, finished in 2004 at the University of Turin. At present, she is Research Fellow at the Department of Economics “S. Cognetti de Martiis”, University of Turin, for the Turin Centre on Emerging Economies. She is also lecturer at the University of Turino and at the Master in Management of Development of the ITC-ILO. Her fields of specialization are Development Economics and Cultural Economics, with a particular focus on China and India.
