Julien Vercueil is currently Professor of Economics at Inalco (National Institute of Oriental Civilizations and Languages, Paris), researcher at the Research Center on Europe and Eurasia (Inalco), member of the Board and Vice President in charge of valorization and environmental responsibility at Inalco. He holds a PhD in International Economics from the University of Nanterre (France). From 1995 to 2011 he was associate professor in Economics and Management at the Jean Moulin Institute of Technology (Lyon). From 2011 to 2018, he was associate professor at Inalco, occupying the chair of Post soviet States Economics. Since 2018, he holds a position of full professor in this institute. He is also co-director of the BRICS Seminar (Inalco – Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme, Paris) and member of the editorial board of the Régulation Review (https://journals.openedition.org/regulation/?lang=en). In 2017 he was given the Kondratieff Gold Medal Awards of the Kondratieff International Fundation, supported by the Russian Academy of Science and the Lomonossov University of Moscow.
